Reliable After-School Nanny Wanted

We are a friendly family looking for a reliable, caring, and experienced nanny to provide after-school care for our two children, aged 5 and 8.

Mum will be on maternity leave from mid-August, and Dad works late into the evening, so we are looking for someone who can provide consistent afternoon support.

Responsibilities include:

Collecting the children from school at 3:00 pm (approximately a 12-minute drive from our home).

Supervising and caring for the children after school, including helping with afternoon routines and engaging them in after school program activities.

Taking the children on an outdoor outing one morning each weekend, such as visiting a local park or an indoor playground. Transport them home or to after-school activities if required 

Hours:

Monday: 15:00-17:00 Tuesday: 15:00-17:00 Friday: 15:00-17:30 Saturday or Sunday: 13:00-17:00 Available by mutual agreement during school holidays, teacher-only days, evenings, or when extra support is needed.  Requirements:

Full New Zealand driver's licence.

Previous experience caring for young children(at least two recent referees can be phoned or emailed) A Police Vetting check(It’s free and only take 2 weeks time to complete)

Reliable, responsible, and nurturing.

First Aid certification is an advantage (but not essential).
