Babysitting can be challenging for caregivers and parents. It helps to have someone to rely on for quality content, help and advice.
At Kidsit we're committed to being that someone.
Our goal is to bring together useful information and advice from experts in many fields to create a valuable babysitting resource you can trust.
Kidsit was born on 19 March 2018 so we're only a baby.
But we have big plans.
We invite you to help us on this new and exciting journey.
Kidsit Founder & Editor in Chief, Father of Three, Artist, Illustrator, and Web Designer.
Matthew created Kidsit as a place to share his experiences caring for his three children, his tips for teaching kids to draw and inventive play ideas.
He believes all children should have an endless supply of paper, pencils and sticky tape.
Matthew’s artistic talent comes from growing up in a creative family with his father a professional artist and private art teacher.
In 1994 Matthew started his career as a cartoonist publishing his Ogga the Cane Toad comic strip before working as a graphic designer.
In 1997 he built his first website and began the transition to a full-time career in web development.
While building websites professionally for more than 18 years Matthew has maintained a balance between his technical and creative skills by continually drawing.
From 2000 to 2014 Matthew studied life drawing and anatomy at Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney, Australia.
Matthew builds and maintains the Kidsit website on a daily basis and he draws illustrations for every article to help create a unique and memorable design that visitors can enjoy.
I am an ex-student of Psychology, a translator, Interpreter and childcare provider.
I moved to Florence in 2005 to gain a bachelor degree in Psychology. Throughout these years I have done several jobs, mainly as a freelance translator, interpreter, event planner and tutoring kids in English and Italian languages.
After college and moving to Amsterdam I continued to follow my natural instinct for child care.
I enjoy bringing my love of art, dance, outdoors, healthy foods and exploration to children. Interactive choices and empowering others to be confident in their own freewill while still being respectful and honoring of those around them is the key. I am also fluent in four languages.

1st Grade School Teacher and Mother of Three in Idaho, USA.
I have taught 1st grade for three years now and have three young children of my own at home. I have worked with kids in many different jobs over the years but it all started with babysitting! I started watching kids when I was only 11 years old and I learned so many valuable skills that I have been able to build upon and still benefit from today.
Genevieve Jewelweed is not only a mom, but also a Celtic Faerie who loves to bring the magic of her realm here, through Face Painting!
She has been face painting for years at festivals around North Carolina. Her favorite part is getting to show a child their design in a special gemstone mirror and watch them smile. Art is passion and she loves finding a quiet spot to create her work.
