Part Time Nanny Needed for 4 Year Old

I’m looking for a reliable, caring, and responsible part-time nanny for my 4 year old son, Josiah, who is starting kindergarten.

His father and I share 50/50 custody, so I would only need childcare every other week the weeks that he is with me.

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, every other week
• Approximately 3:00 PM–7:00/7:30 PM
• Meet him at the school bus stop downstairs around 3:00 PM
• Care would continue until I return home from work around 7:00–7:30 PM

About Josiah:

Josiah is a very smart, vibrant, energetic, and loving 4 year old. He is starting kindergarten and is very verbal, expressive, curious, and independent for his age. He enjoys conversation, playing, learning, and staying active. He is self sufficient to an extent but still needs attentive supervision, guidance, and someone who will keep him engaged throughout the afternoon.

Responsibilities:

• Meet him at the bus stop and safely bring him home
• Supervise and engage with him throughout the afternoon
• Prepare or provide snacks and dinner as needed
• Assist with age appropriate homework and reading
• Play with him and keep him engaged in positive activities
• Follow his normal routine
• Maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Communicate with me about his day and anything I should know

I’m looking for someone who is patient, dependable, attentive, responsible, and genuinely enjoys working with children. Most importantly, I want someone who will treat my son with care, respect, and kindness while providing a fun but structured environment.

This would be an ongoing part time position on alternating weeks, making it a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent afternoon hours.
