I graduated from Radford University in July of 2000 with a BS in Interdisciplinary Studies with Concentrations in Elementary Education, Psychology and Jewelry/Metalworking. Since graduating, I have worked in Event Planning, Property Management and as an Accountant until October of 2009 when I became a Stay-at-Home-Mom with my first child. I have 3 children of my own (11, 14 & 15 years of age) and started watching infants, babies, toddlers and Preschool aged children. I have watched children as young as 6-weeks-old.
I started babysitting when I was 10-years-old. At that age, I also became a Certified Babysitter by St. Mary's Hospital with my Girl Scout Troop. We became certified in CPR and First Aid. My 2nd and 3rd children were in the NICU at Henrico Doctor's Hospital. In order for them to be discharged by the hospital, I had to attend a class which taught Infant and Baby CPR AND First Aid.
On summer break during college, I was a Nanny. I worked in the home of the family that I cared for. Sometimes I stayed overnight. I took the kids places, cleaned, cooked and entertained their kiddos.
For my services, I charge $75/day/child with a small discount for siblings.
I watch kiddos Monday-Friday from 7:30 am-4:30 pm.
I would love the opportunity to be your child's babysitter!!! ❤️
