I’d love to be your babysitter/nanny

Nurturing children and watching them blossom has always been a passion of mine. My five years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens, has solidified my desire to positively impact their lives. I'm patient, creative, and approachable, and I enjoy engaging children in outdoor activities, board games, and even educational games. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children at a time.

I'm also happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, and carpooling. I am certified in First Aid and CPR Training. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and always communicate with parents using their preferred method, whether through written reports or quick chats at pickup. I would love to share my love of swimming with your children, if you like. Ultimately, I want to create a safe and fun environment where your children can thrive, and I hope to bring my passion to your family. Would also love to bring my 19-month-old little boy with me if that's okay.

Top 10 Tips For Hiring A Dog Walker

Follow these handy tips for hiring a dog walker so you know your pup is in safe, reliable hands.

1. Check experience

Look for walkers who have worked with dogs of similar size, breed, and temperament.

2. Verify credentials

Ask about pet first aid/CPR certification and whether they’re insured and bonded.

3. Request references

Speak to past or current clients for honest feedback.

4. Meet in person

Arrange a meet-and-greet to see how your dog responds to them.

5. Discuss routines

Ensure they can stick to your dog’s feeding, walking, and medication schedule.

6. Ask about group walks

Clarify whether they walk multiple dogs at once or provide solo walks.

7. Check reliability

Confirm their backup plan in case they’re sick or unavailable.

8. Look for communication

Choose someone who provides updates, photos, or reports after walks.

9. Test with a trial walk

Start with a short session to assess how your dog and the walker get along.

10. Clarify policies

Go over payment, cancellations, keys/access to your home, and emergency procedures.
