I am Irushi Jalangana, a year 13 student at Christchurch Girls High School. My mom identifies me as a confident, outgoing and responsible girl and my friends identify me as an over- caring and trustworthy companion. I have always had a goal to work with children and work towards being a paediatrician one day. I currently work casually in hospitality during the weekends and am finding something to do during the rest of my time including weekdays and the weekends when I am free. Hi! My name is Liam, and I absolutely love animals — especially dogs! I’m also a nursing student, so caring for others, whether it's people or pets, is something that comes naturally to me. Although my schedule can be a bit unpredictable, I always make time for what I love most — helping others and caring for animals and kids alike.

I grew up on a farm, so I have plenty of experience with all sorts of dogs and animals, as well as caring for younger children in different settings. I’ve spent a lot of time walking dogs of all sizes and temperaments, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality.
