I absolutely love being a sitter because it gives me the chance to make a positive impact in children’s lives. Growing up with several siblings, I’ve always been surrounded by young ones, and that has given me a natural understanding of how to care for kids in a way that’s both fun and supportive. I have a younger brother who is autistic, which has further deepened my ability to be patient, empathetic, and creative in my approach to caregiving.
Though I may not have professional sitter training, my hands-on experience with my brother and other children has taught me how to engage with kids of various needs and personalities. I’m comfortable with creating a structured yet flexible environment, making sure everyone feels heard, supported, and safe. I’m skilled in managing routines, promoting social interactions, and finding ways to make daily tasks enjoyable.
If you’re looking for someone with a genuine love for kids and a background that includes patience and adaptability, I’d love the opportunity to sit for your family!
