I have babysat kids off and on my entire life. I have a 25 year old son who was special needs when he was in school. I'm well-versed with IEP's. My son was deaf when he was a baby. He had tubes in ears, adenoids taken out. He has a learning disability but we try to overcome that each day. I currently work as a PCA on weekdays (personal care assistant). I take care of elderly clients, dementia patients, cancer patients, etc. I know how to use wheelchairs, hoyer lifts, etc. I have a degree in fine arts. I'm looking for extra hours some weekends. I am CPR, FIRST AID, AED certified. I will eventually go back to school to get my CNA certification (certified nursing assistant).
