Caring, Patient, Involved Babysitter/Petsitter Eager to Help Out
Hello! I'm Charlotte! I will always treat your children with patience, kindness, and a smile. With me, you can have someone you can count on to work as hard as I possibly can to make sure your children are happy and safe.
I have previous experience assisting with childcare at a summer camp. I planned out activities, helped other counsellors, and bonded with groups of children. I assisted with general chores and food. I also babysat my younger sibling and helped him with reading. My experience with animals and with retail have also honed my cleaning and organizing skills. My extensive animal care experience and experience of having both a dog and a cat are great if you have pets too! I am currently planning to retake a course to refresh my memory of First Aid / AED.
When it comes to helping with your kid(s), I prioritize your wishes first. I will consult you on what expectations you have of me to ensure a perfectly tailored experience that makes everyone happy. Each child is unique and I will work hard and listen to your wisdom on how I can best guide and support them as they flourish as people (and hopefully have fun in the process)! While I generally like to clearly understand the wishes of parents, I can also think quickly and exercise common sense when needed. I prefer to do live-out but have some flexibility. I can speak some rudimentary French, and am hoping to improve.
Currently, I am a 4th year University of Guelph BSc. student hoping to improve my childcare skills and challenge myself while also saving and investing for my future. This means I will have a University student schedule, but due to hard work in previous years I have a smaller course load now that I near graduation. This means I have more time and energy to give. You can expect the diligence and flexibility of someone able to and hoping to learn and grow. I am happy to answer any questions you have and work with you! I look forward to getting to know your family!
I'm looking for Casual/temporary, Part-time employment.
I can travel to neighboring suburbs/towns of Guelph for work.

I have worked with children as at a summer camp in the past. I planned out activities, helped other counsellors, and bonded with groups of children. I assisted with general chores and food. I also babysat my younger sibling and taught him how to read. I am a senior BSc student in Zoology at the University of Guelph and have prior experience both caring for pets (neighbours, my own) and more than exotic animals (zoo, wildlife rehab), meaning I can and want to care for all pets. I am currently planning on refreshing my First Aid / AED.

I've been volunteering at the local library reading to young children during the week where I helped kids engage through storytelling. I have gained experience working directly with kids in a structured setting and developed strong communication and patience. I have also babysat for family friends and really enjoyed it.
