When I was in high school I took child development and early childhood education classes. In my child development classes I learned how children develop from the womb to adulthood. I also learned important lessons on first aid and CPR on children ages 2-6. In my early childhood educations classes I was responsible for teaching and taking care of children ages 3-4. I would create projects for them to do depending on their age, each catering to their abilities. I would help them with play time, reading, and arts and crafts.

Hi, there! My name is Edie! I have a flexible schedule, I'm CPR Certified and trained in advanced child care. I'm currently a Salisbury University student studying elementary education with a minor in special education.
I have been babysitting for over two years and have excellent references. Outside of babysitting I have lots of experience with young children and special needs children as I have grown up with special needs sister and work with kids ages 1-14 through my nonprofit We Are Artistic.
I’m looking for date night babysitting, and occasional babysitting jobs around the DC, MD and VA areas over my spring break (March 13-21st) and summer break (May 20th-August 22nd).
I love creating engaging, supportive environments where kids feel cared for, encouraged, and free to be themselves. I'd love to connect and learn how I can support your family.
I can travel to neighboring suburbs/towns of Manassas for work.
