Hi parents! I'm Bek, and I've been working with kids in various settings for years, but am now looking at getting into part-time nannying as I absolutely adore my time with babies and children

I love to bake, read, and do lots of craft. I'm also a very musical person. I'd be very comfortable taking your kid/s out of the house, to parks and libraries etc. As well as other fun adventures like the zoo, indoor play centres, etc. I'm even happy to take them to weekly things such as playgroup, music classes, etc

I'm very flexible with my hours, but would prefer to organise set times every week with the right family.

I currently lead a Playgroup 2 mornings a week, with kids aged anywhere from 1 - 6 years old. I have done a fair bit of casual babysitting with kids of similar ages

I have volunteered in youth (ages 8-18) musical theatre productions, both as a chaperone and well being coordinator.

I've got experience with neurodivergent kids, and medically complex kids as well.

I've got up with dogs, and am very confident caring for pets. I can either stay overnight at your place to pet sit, or just drop in during the day to feed and play with your pet. Happy to tale dogs on walks as long as half an hour

I am fully vaccinated, including a yearly flu shot.

I do have my drivers license and own car (toyota yaris), but I am still on my P's

My skills and interests:

  • Music
  • Singing
  • Dance
  • Reading/storytelling
  • Drawing/painting
  • Arts/crafts
  • Cooking

Weekend Babysitting

My name's Mary and I'm available for weekend baby sitting. As a new mum myself to a 11 month old, I understand the challenges faced by many parents both new and old and I am here to help.

I have extensive experience looking after children, young people and their families. I am a youth worker specialising in mental health and a trainer and assessor too!

In my spare time I enjoy photography, catching up with friends and family but more importantly spending time with my baby girl. Every moment with our children is precious.

I am a strong advocate for gentle parenting. Our little ones are exploring their new world and are learning every day! My core values are open and honest communication, respect and consent.

I understand the needs of every family is unique. I am eager to learn about your family!

I have a Bachelor of Youth Work, WWCC, Police Check and First Aid Training (Asthma, Anaphylaxis, CPR and emergency training).

My most recent role was working with young people with severe mental unwellness, supporting them to achieve their employment and education goals. However, prior to this I have coordinated multiple before and after school care programs across Melbourne for several years working closely with primary aged children.

As a new mother and someone who has worked with many children, young people and their families my core values are open and honest communication, respect and consent. I am an advocate for gentle parenting as our little ones are their own little person and still learning all there is to know about the world 🌎.

My skills and interests:

  • Reading/storytelling
  • Arts/crafts
  • Nature
  • Gardening
  • Cooking
