Hi! I have taken child development classes at school and am the oldest of 8 kids, so I have grown up hands-on with childcare. I have worked as a part-time nanny and have experience babysitting children with severe autism and Down syndrome.
Outside of caregiving, I am a varsity swimmer and water polo player, active in student leadership, and enrolled in AP and honors classes. I am a licensed driver and am comfortable transporting children of any age for errands and outings.
Additionally, I grew up around pets and have experience breeding European Boxers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I am also highly capable when it comes to maintaining a clean and organized household. Having grown up in a large family, I am incredibly efficient at tidy-up routines and light housekeeping. I am also comfortable preparing healthy, delicious meals and snacks that cater to any dietary restrictions or preferences the kids might have. In addition to childcare, I am fully equipped to assist with homework and structured learning. Having been homeschooled myself, I understand how to guide students through independent study, keep them on task, and support homeschool curricula. My experience in AP and honors classes also gives me a strong academic foundation to tutor and help children succeed in their studies.
I am interested in watching your child of any age i am flexable have transportation reliable i have 20 years experience love spending time with kids its so fun to watch them grow and learn new things i want to be helpful to the parents that have alot on their plate and want someone they can trust to take care of their children am comfortable with kids of any age
I'm looking for Casual/temporary, Part-time, Full-time employment.
I can travel to neighboring suburbs/towns of Reno for work.
