Hi beautiful humans!
I am a current student at the University of Waterloo, studying social development studies. In my future, I am hoping to work with children in early learning and teaching, or in mental health services for children and adolescents.
Currently I work on call at a childcare centre in the toddler and preschool classrooms. I value my time in the classroom and the time spend with each and every child I get the opportunity to work with.
I love making connections with the children I work with as well as their families. I also am always looking for engaging activities to share with the kiddos I work with. I believe that it is important to engage in activity’s that will foster healthy development and encourage healthy relationships when working with youth.
In my own time, I enjoy anything to do with arts— drawing, crafts, colouring, singing. I love to engage in self care related activities as well; such as yoga and skincare. I also love spending time with my cat! If I’m not working, engaging in self care, or cuddling with my cat, you can’t find me indulging more into my education and learning even more!
