I have over four years of experience working as a nanny in Tauranga, where I provided full-time care for children in a home environment, including supporting a child with special needs. I adapted daily routines to meet individual requirements, offered patient and attentive care, and worked closely with families to support children’s development and wellbeing.
In addition, I have experience babysitting infants and young children, confidently managing feeding, changing, settling, and maintaining safe sleep practices while creating a calm and nurturing environment.
I have also provided house-sitting and pet care for friends, including looking after dogs. This involved maintaining a clean and secure home, following feeding and exercise routines, and ensuring pets were well cared for and comfortable in their owners’ absence.
Prior to relocating to New Zealand, I worked in a daycare centre in South Africa, where I supported group care, facilitated play-based learning, and contributed to a positive and engaging environment for young children.
