I am a reliable, caring, and responsible teenager (16)with previous babysitting experience caring for children of different ages. Growing up with three siblings has helped me become patient, organised, and comfortable looking after children from a young age. I'm used to helping with daily routines, keeping younger children entertained, and making sure everyone feels safe and included. I have studied health and social care so I really understand how kids think cognitively and impairments or disabilities allowing me to emphasise easily with certain circumstances.
I am also happy to help around the house by keeping things clean and tidy. I can assist with light household chores such as washing dishes, tidying play areas, organising toys, vacuuming, and helping to keep the home neat while caring for children. In my church I helped organise a cupcake program where I assisted the kids and spent time with them and helped them decorate their cupcake.
I enjoy helping children with their homework and tutoring them when needed. I am patient, encouraging, and happy to explain things clearly to help them understand their schoolwork and build confidence. I am very good at writing, reading and the subject of English in general, I have won multiple awards for my English and poetry work (my favourite book is genesis begins again). In school I am the head of the fundraising and events, this allowed me to become familiar with organisation and time managing events, charities or any organisations needed to support school causes. I also exercised the role of vice house captain allowing me to manage a large group of students and help anyone in the class who had experienced any struggles.
As a cat owner, I have experience caring for pets every day. I understand the responsibility involved in feeding, cleaning, playing with, and looking after animals, and I am comfortable pet sitting for cats and other friendly pets.
I am trustworthy, dependable, and always put the safety and well-being of the children and pets in my care first. Families can count on me to be punctual, respectful, and provide reliable, attentive care whenever they need it. I have just finished year 11 meaning I have a lot of free time allowing me to have more opportunities to babysit or pet sit. I have previously sang and visited care homes during Christmas time and sang carols to support and help the elderly. (it was super fun). Being a leader within my student council allowed me to prioritise the safety and well-being of my peers and younger years.
