Hi there! With over a decade of dedicated hands-on experience in animal care, my approach has always been remarkably simple: treat every single pet as if they were a cherished member of my own family. Over the years, caring for animals has ceased to be just a job or a service , it is a lifelong passion, a daily joy, and an integral part of who I am. Whether I am opening up my home for an extended stay, spending an afternoon keeping a high-energy pup entertained, or providing gentle, attentive medical care, my daily commitment is to ensure that your companions feel safe, comfortable, respected, and deeply loved every moment they spend in my care.My journey with animals spans a lot of ground, both geographically and professionally. I originally began my formal training in Arkansas, where I earned my certification in all-breed dog and cat grooming as well as facility-based pet boarding. That foundational period was where I truly learned the intricate ins and outs of animal behavior, coat and skin hygiene, coat maintenance across dozens of distinct breeds, and the delicate art of keeping pets calm and cooperative during grooming procedures. It was also during my early career in Arkansas that I completed my formal Red Cross Pet CPR and First Aid certification, laying the groundwork for my absolute commitment to health, safety, and rapid emergency response.

After completing my training and establishing my skills, I relocated to Colorado, where I owned and operated my own mobile dog grooming business for over five years. Running a mobile business allowed me to work one-on-one with pets right outside their front doors, which gave me unique insight into how animals respond when they are outside their usual comfort zones. I worked closely with anxious pets, nervous rescues, senior dogs with mobility issues, and strong, headstrong breeds that required a patient, confident touch. Over those five years, I built deep, trusting relationships with countless pet parents and their animals, expanding my practical experience and learning how to tailor my care to the specific physical and emotional needs of every dog and cat that stepped into my van. To this day, I maintain professional licensing across two states, reflecting my continuous dedication to holding myself to the highest standards of care, sanitation, and professionalism.

This lifelong passion for animals is very much a family affair. Alongside me is my 13 year old daughter, who has spent her entire life growing up as my trusted sidekick while I worked in rescue and rehabilitation, with a particular focus on large and giant breed dogs. Raising a child alongside large, powerful, and sometimes emotionally complex rescue dogs has given her an extraordinary level of emotional maturity, empathy, and intuitive animal understanding that you rarely see in young people. She has developed a wonderful, natural instinct for reading animal body language, recognizing subtle signs of stress, happiness, or playfulness long before they escalate. She knows exactly how to aid me with daily routines, how to give animals their personal space when they need time to adjust, and how to gently engage with dogs of all differing personalities from overly energetic pups to cautious, introverted rescues. Animals pick up on her calm, affectionate energy immediately, and having her assistance means your pet receives double the warmth, attention, and watchful eyes throughout their stay.

We recently relocated to the area and have just settled into a brand new, clean, and spacious apartment! Moving to a new region is always an adventure, but the one thing our new home has been missing is the constant presence of quadruped companions. I am currently in my third year of pursuing my bachelor’s degree in psychology, a course of study that has only deepened my understanding of animal behavior, stress responses, conditioning, and emotional bonding. While my studies keep me focused and intellectually driven, the honest truth is that I truly miss having regular, everyday fur baby love filling our home.

Caring for your beloved pets allows us to fill that empty space in our hearts with meaningful, joyful work while helping our family achieve an important practical goal: saving up to purchase a personal vehicle. Having reliable transportation will allow us to fully explore, navigate, and get properly acquainted with our wonderful new community and state, from local parks and hiking trails to neighborhood events. Every pet stay, daycare day, or drop in visit directly helps us build our new life here, and we treat every opportunity with immense gratitude and dedication. Whether your pet requires overnight boarding, interactive day care, or precise medicine administration, their health, safety, and personal comfort remain my absolute top priorities. Over my decade in the industry, I have worked with virtually every age group, temperament, and health condition imaginable. I am completely comfortable and experienced with Senior Pets: Providing gentle assistance for aching joints, slow-paced strolls, soft bedding, and adhering strictly to delicate daily routines and dietary needs. High-Energy Puppies and Young Dogs: Offering active engagement, safe play sessions, structured exercise, and positive reinforcement to keep their minds and bodies healthy and entertained.

Special Needs Animals Managing chronic health conditions, mobility challenges, visual or hearing impairments, and strict medical or feeding protocols with steady hands and clear attention to detail. Shy or Anxious Pets Utilizing low-stress handling techniques, soft vocal tones, and patient body language to help timid animals build confidence at their own natural pace until their true personalities flourish. Challenging or Reactive Personalities, Applying years of rescue and rehabilitation experience to maintain calm boundaries, anticipate potential triggers, and manage strong breeds with confidence, patience, and control.

I take emergency preparedness extremely seriously. I always maintain a spotless, calm, and fully secure environment designed to minimize stress and eliminate common household hazards. Emergency protocols, including local veterinary clinic locations, clear contact trees, and my Red Cross first aid supplies, are always organized and ready to go at a moment's notice. You can rest easy knowing that while you are at work, traveling, or attending to life's responsibilities, your pets are in hands that are not only deeply loving, but highly skilled, experienced, and prepared for any situation.

Thank you so much for considering us to care for your cherished companions. We cannot wait to welcome your dogs or cats into our home, get to know their unique quirks and personalities, and give you complete, uncompromised peace of mind every single time you leave them in our care!

Top 10 Tips For Hiring A Pet Daycare Provider

Follow these handy tips for hiring a private pet daycare provider so your furry friend gets the best care while you’re away.

1. Check Experience with Your Pet Type

Ask about their background caring for dogs, cats, or other pets. Make sure they understand breed-specific needs, temperaments, and behaviors.

2. Verify Training & Certifications

Look for pet CPR/first aid certification, animal handling training, or professional memberships in pet care associations.

3. Tour the Facility or Home

Visit the daycare space to check for cleanliness, safety measures, secure fencing, and pet-friendly areas.

4. Ask About Daily Routine

Find out what a typical day looks like—exercise, playtime, feeding, rest, and socialization opportunities.

5. Understand Supervision Levels

Confirm how many pets they care for at once and whether constant supervision is provided, especially during group play.

6. Review Health & Safety Policies

Ask about vaccination requirements, flea/tick prevention, emergency plans, and how illnesses or injuries are handled.

7. Check References & Reviews

Speak with past or current clients, and ask for customer reviews to ensure reliability and positive experiences.

8. Clarify Communication

Ask how they’ll keep you updated—daily texts, photos, or reports—so you know your pet is happy and safe.

9. Discuss Rates & Inclusions

Make sure you understand the cost, what’s included (walks, grooming, food), and if there are extra fees for late pickup or special care.

10. Do a Trial Day

Start with a short daycare session to see how your pet adjusts, and gauge the provider’s attentiveness and professionalism.
