Hi! I have taken child development classes at school and am the oldest of 8 kids, so I have grown up hands-on with childcare. I have worked as a part-time nanny and have experience babysitting children with severe autism and Down syndrome.
Outside of caregiving, I am a varsity swimmer and water polo player, active in student leadership, and enrolled in AP and honors classes. I am a licensed driver and am comfortable transporting children of any age for errands and outings.
Additionally, I grew up around pets and have experience breeding European Boxers and Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. I am also highly capable when it comes to maintaining a clean and organized household. Having grown up in a large family, I am incredibly efficient at tidy-up routines and light housekeeping. I am also comfortable preparing healthy, delicious meals and snacks that cater to any dietary restrictions or preferences the kids might have. In addition to childcare, I am fully equipped to assist with homework and structured learning. Having been homeschooled myself, I understand how to guide students through independent study, keep them on task, and support homeschool curricula. My experience in AP and honors classes also gives me a strong academic foundation to tutor and help children succeed in their studies.
