Hi neighbors! I’m Cheyanne (but call me Cae), a patient and energetic 15-year-old high school student, I am a sophomore, offering dedicated babysitting and pet-sitting services right here at my home. I am trying to build a career in being a babysitter to help children, later on in life I want to be a highschool teacher or possibly a elemntary school teacher.
As an IEP student, my absolute biggest superpower is following rules, instructions, and schedules exactly as they are written. I know how important routines are, and I take pride in keeping things organized, calm, and structured.
Our home is completely smoke-free and features a secure, fully fenced backyard, providing the perfect safe zone for outdoor games or pet exercise. Whether you need a trusted supervisor for your child's playtime or a detailed schedule tracker for your pet's feeding and walking routines, I am here to help!
Contact me if you need help on weekends or after school! I can work full-time during summer vacation or holiday vacations. I can only work part-time when school starts but will be free on weekends anytime, I can work during school times from 3pm to 9pm and during the summertime from 9:40am to 9pm. I do allow extra payments like bonuses or extra money, or tips. I do work $25 an hour. Your pet must be a well trained and respectful dog and very friendly and not aggressive for when walking. Thank you and I am looking forward to meeting your pets and children.
Also parents must provide meals, diapers, extra clothes, and bottles if they still use bottles. But I do give snacks to children but parents must provide the dinner and I will provide lunch and breakfast. If your child has allergies let me know.. My school year starts September 1st and my summer vacation starts June 17th. I am a recent graduate of Tulane University with a B.A. in Communications and Digital Media Practices. As part of my service-learning coursework, I spent four months working with Anna’s Place, an after-school youth program in New Orleans. There, I served as a homework tutor and mentor for children aged 5–12, assisting in various enrichment classes, including the student NASA program, choir, and art. This work was done in conjunction with my course Education in a Diverse Society, an introductory class for those pursuing PK–12 teacher certification or studying within the Teaching, where I learned foundational teaching principles and practices.
In addition to this experience, I have taught dance to children aged 3–12 for three years and have been involved with Kids Yoga throughout my life, assisting and co-teaching yoga classes alongside my mother. I have also babysat for many family members!
I can travel to neighboring suburbs/towns of Norfolk for work.
