Hi there my name is Brooklyn and I'm almost 18 years ago with almost 4 years of babysitting experience. I've been caring for children of others since I was 14 years old and have worked with kids of all ages. I do have my own vehicle which I have used to help drive kids to practices, to and from school, and more in the past, which I saw was an important necessity in your ad. It also makes transportation to and from jobs a very reliable source. I'm extremely passionate about helping kids get out of their comfort zones through creative activities, play, and conversation-rather than relying on screens for entertainment. I always go the extra mile, including housework and tidying up during and after my time with children. Another thing I started doing after a year of babysitting was taking the time to understand each child I take care of and things they like for the next time I see them to bring them a Brooklyn Fun Bag which always includes things they enjoy, little treats (always made sure the parents were okay with what I was bringing before hand), games, and tiny toys which each childs bag was different in its own way. I take pride in being dependable, engaging, and creative in always a safe and fun manner. I love watching kids in an environment where they can thrive and rely on me. In my years of babysitting I have had experience with children with Down syndrome and ADHD. I also have done swimming lessons all my life and have taken lifeguarding lessons which included CPR training, and basic first aid needs. I have not taken asthma training or Anaphylactic training, but I have babysat a child who did have an epi pen which I never had to use but I have seen one being used in person before considering my mom is deathly allergic to carrots and she has had to use her epi pen before which I know how to use one if it is needed, and for asthma I do have an inhaler myself, I have had one since I was 9 years old and I know how they work.
