Activity summary
Welcome message:
Hi, I'm Sami, a responsible, energetic, and highly organized caregiver with a genuine love for working with children. As a student with a strong background in tutoring and camp counseling, I know how to keep kids engaged with everything from creative art projects and reading stories to fun indoor and outdoor games. My experience ranges from helping students with their schoolwork to supervising active daily schedules. Whether you need someone to help structure a busy afternoon, assist with homework, or simply ensure a safe and playful environment while you're away, I bring a reliable and enthusiastic attitude to every family I work with. I look forward to getting to know your family and making your regular routines a breeze!

I am a highly motivated rising college freshman at the University of Richmond with a record of academic achievement, leadership, and community involvement. I graduated from Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart in 2026 with a cumulative GPA of 3.92. Throughout my high school career, I consistently earned a spot on the Honor Roll and was inducted into both the National Honor Society and the National English Honor Society. My long-term dedication and personal discipline are further demonstrated by my training in martial arts, in which I earned a black belt after practicing from 2015 to 2026, alongside my athletic commitment as a Varsity Field Hockey player. Through these experiences, I have developed strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, which I have applied to a variety of volunteer and paid roles. My tutoring and educational background includes serving as a weekly writing tutor at my high school—where I assisted students with essay development, grammar, and proofreading —and volunteering weekly at my temple to tutor students, assist classroom teachers, and manage photography for social media. I have also built public speaking and leadership experience by leading tours for prospective families as an Admissions Ambassador, writing for the school newspaper, The Tartan, and participating in the Future Business Leaders of America. Furthermore, my practical experience includes supervising children as a camp counselor, working locally as a babysitter, house sitter, and dog walker, and volunteering for multiple summers with the Appalachia Service Project to repair homes for low-income families. I am eager to contribute these diverse skills to a challenging and rewarding new opportunity.
