Read then stories, have a mini dance party listening to there music! Or what about a movie night with snacks or going on a bike ride? I’ll tidy up the place, have then shower before the parents get home if its not to early so they don't have to deal with bath time, make food for them at around the same time everyday so there days stay consistent and sort of on a schedule. The trick of every thing patience and dedication is key Making sure that the kids understand what you are saying to them like if you said no you cant play with that explanation to them why it is a good idea to leave whatever it os alone and why they shouldn’t do it. Kids always crack me up because they are so silly even though they dont even know what they mean half the time but they make me super happy and put a smile on my face.
