I have wanted to work with children for many years and was previously part of a Brownie troupe that helped me learn more about children. As a child I went to a child minder and spent lots of time around other children, this is when I realised I enjoyed interacting with younger children. As a teen I babysat local children while I was doing my GCSEs, one of which was in child development.

I have completed a masters of science in food consumer marketing and product development and a bsc in Food Marketing Management. I am looking to expand my career possibilities as I love working with kids, but was encouraged to follow my passion for food. I volunteered with children at a brownies troupe for over a year and massively enjoyed this, I would have continued if it was not due to a house move, due to this I have had a DBS check, however it will be specific to the brownie organisation. Like many people, as a teenager I was a baby sitter for local children, this was supported by my GCSE in Child development.
