Hi Ms. Wilkerson! My name is Erin, and I’m currently a college student pursuing a degree in Elementary Education. I have several years of experience working with children of all ages through babysitting, coaching, daycare programs, and student teaching in elementary classrooms. I truly love building strong relationships with kids and creating a safe, fun, caring environment where your family can feel comfortable and supported.
For four years, I’ve coached middle school students, and I also spent the last two years student teaching in 1st and 3rd grade classrooms, supporting students with different learning styles and needs. Last summer, I worked at a school as a daycare teacher for grades Kinder–5th, planning activities, supervising groups of children, and helping create a positive and engaging environment each day.
Most recently, I worked as a Child Supervisor on a ship where I took care of and supervised children ages 5–17 while traveling around the world. This experience strengthened my responsibility, patience, leadership, and ability to adapt in new situations while always making sure children felt safe, included, and cared for.
I am CPR and First Aid certified, completed Mandated Reporter training, and am very comfortable around pets as well. I have experience caring for multiple children at once and always prioritize safety, communication, and creating a warm environment for your family.
