I completed an online course with Ulleo for Animal and Veterinary Care in October 2025. My studies taught me about animal body language, characteristics, disease, anatomy, first aid, handling animals, enrichment, animal rescue and other animal care subjects. I did 3 weeks worth of work experience with PetStock in Morley. During that time, I cared for various animals such as reptiles, budgies, kittens and fish. I changed their food and water, I played with the animals, I checked the temperatures of the reptile enclosures, I was responsible for caring for them. I also worked in a Dog Grooming centre where I learnt how to bathe and dry dogs thoroughly and safely. I have owned my dog for almost 8 years now, his name is Simba and he is a Shih Tzu.
