Hello families in Turlock, California! My name is Katarina but I go by Kat. I am 16 years old and I am a junior at Central Catholic High school. I have experience caring for my younger cousins and family friends children of all ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, grade-schoolers, and teenagers. I am comfortable watching children with type 1 diabetes and helping them manage their diabetes, since I also have type 1 diabetes. I was diagnosed at 9 years old and have had it for 7 years now. I also volunteer at a camp for children with t1d so I am comfortable helping children to manage their diabetes. I am responsible, patient, and caring and promise to ensure that your children are safe and most importantly that they have fun! Hello! I have been babysitting, house-sitting, and pet-sitting consistently since I was around thirteen. I own a horse, dog, and cat currently but have also owned fish. I have babysat for babies but more commonly babysit for kids starting at ages 3 to 10. A unique fact about me is that I lived in Haiti for two years with my family, where I was constantly around groups of 50 kids ranging from infants to 13-year-olds - all with different needs. This experience has taught me that every kid is different and made me skilled when it comes to effectively multitasking and kindly managing multiple kids at once.
