I have been in childcare for nearly half of my life and I plan to make it my future as well. I volunteered in community daycare when I was in middle school and I have taught swim lessons for two years and instructed kids gymnastics for one year. I am currently working part-time doing in-home care for seniors because I want to gain experience caring for people of all ages and backgrounds. I am very empathetic and patient and I connect with little ones easily, I’m responsible and reliable but I’m still just a kid at heart and am able to meet kids at their level.

Some of the children I’ve taught have written me cards and given me hugs because they feel safe and appreciated. When caring for children it is never about the money, it’s about fostering a safe environment and forming relationships that make them feel understood and happy.

I have my CPR certification and Food Handler’s permit, High School diploma, driver’s license and car with front and rear backup cameras (willing to drive children if needed), and will be going to college for Early Childhood Education in the fall. I also have always had dogs in my household and am willing to care for pets.

Reliable, Fun, and Safe Care for Kids and Pets

Hello! My name is Ella Threet, and I’ve lived in Washington State my entire life.
