I have over 20 years of experience working with children as a nanny, art educator, homeschool educator, and teaching artist. I’ve cared for children from newborns through teens, including twins, and I love creating days that feel fun, creative, and genuinely engaging.
I have a BA in Anthropology and graduate coursework in Education, along with Montessori kindergarten experience and a background in nature based and Waldorf inspired learning. I’m also CPR and First Aid certified.
Art is a huge part of who I am. I owned an art gallery and teaching studio for nearly a decade and have created art programs, camps, and classes for children of many ages. I love painting, clay, printmaking, nature projects, gardening, science experiments, storytelling, museum trips, outdoor adventures, and turning whatever a child is curious about into something we can explore together.
My childcare style is warm, playful, patient, and dependable. I believe in clear boundaries without being harsh, lots of conversation and creativity, and giving kids room to be themselves. I’m happiest with families who want a nanny who will really get to know their children and bring some imagination and adventure into their lives.
