I am a junior (11th grade) at South Fork High School, currently enrolled in the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. I previously worked at CR Chicks on Indiantown Road for over a year as counter staff while managing a full-time academic schedule. Outside of academics, I am actively involved in athletics and extracurriculars. I played volleyball during my freshman and sophomore years and joined the varsity lacrosse team in my sophomore year, which I plan to continue through junior and senior year. I am also a member of South Fork’s varsity debate team, competing in Public Forum (PF) with my partner Olivia Mohesni. In addition, I host a podcast, which I started in 8th grade (I currently have one active show and one retired show). I am a member of the Spanish National Honor Society (SNHS) and National Honor Society (NHS), participate in Model UN, and have served as class secretary for the Class of 2027 for the past two years. I have accumulated over 200 community service hours, including volunteering at my local homeless shelter during the summers. I enjoy leadership opportunities and strive to commit fully to all my endeavors. I also have CPR, AED and First aid certifications. I was in a medical academy all throughout middle school and know basic medical knowledge. I have 2 younger step siblings who I watch often and my family was a foster family and I still talk to this child where I mentor her as my little sister. All my life I have had a different variety of animals such as German shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Main coon cat, chickens, hamsters, tropical fish tank, seahorses, freshwater fish, bearded dragons. I was also in a vet academy for 2 years where I studied proper restraints and animal behavior. Also yes, I do speak Spanish, around a B2, C1 level, and have taken Spanish classes for 3 years and hear it in the house daily.
