I completed an online course with Ulleo for Animal and Veterinary Care in October 2025. My studies taught me about animal body language, characteristics, disease, anatomy, first aid, handling animals, enrichment, animal rescue and other animal care subjects. I did 3 weeks worth of work experience with PetStock in Morley. During that time, I cared for various animals such as reptiles, budgies, kittens and fish. I changed their food and water, I played with the animals, I checked the temperatures of the reptile enclosures, I was responsible for caring for them. I also worked in a Dog Grooming centre where I learnt how to bathe and dry dogs thoroughly and safely. I have owned my dog for almost 8 years now, his name is Simba and he is a Shih Tzu. I also own 3 goldfish, a sucking catfish and 2 pet budgies. I am solely responsible for feeding my pet fish everyday. I help out with walking my dog, feeding him, changing water bowls, cleaning up his poop and playing with him. I change my budgies water and I will help my parent out with cleaning the bird cage.
