Although I have never had a pet of my own, I have spent several weeks dog-sitting for friends of mine, ranging from puppies to dogs that are several years old. In particular, I have thorough experience with a shih-tzu maltese cross, and am willing to work with a variety of breeds as long as they are friendly and reasonably well trained :)
