Devoted Pet Sitter in Stoke-on-Trent ST1

As a reliable and experienced dog sitter, I offer personalised care and attention for your beloved while you're away. With a genuine love for animals, I ensure your dog feels comfortable, safe and well-cared for. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, playtime or general company, I tailor my services to suit individual canine needs. I provide a calm, nurturing environment to keep your pet happy and healthy by prioritising their well-being. Your four-legged family member(s) will be cared for as if they were my own, giving you peace of mind pets in your absence.

Having always aspired to have my own Siberian or Alaskan Husky, I'd like to get to know as many pets as possible and make friends with them to prepare myself for such a high-maintenance dog. I don't only feed the animals but also make sure they're happy with the company I'm providing. Reptiles, birds, fish, marsupials, sheep, goats, horses, fowl and rodents are also welcome (I had some farmwork experience in Australia).

I’ve just finished my master’s course in September 2024 and am currently job-seeking. I can help you shower your pets with the attention they deserve. Services provided:

  • house and pet sitting (from a couple of hours to a couple of months) anywhere in the UK
  • pet visit (for feeding and playtime) in Stoke-on-Trent ST1
  • dog walking (on the leash only) in Stoke-on-Trent ST1 Note: I neither have my own private transport nor can I drive.

Photos and videos will be sent to your phone so that you'll know that your darling pets are in good hands.

References will be provided upon request.

Top 10 Tips For Hiring A Dog Walker

Follow these handy tips for hiring a dog walker so you know your pup is in safe, reliable hands.

1. Check experience

Look for walkers who have worked with dogs of similar size, breed, and temperament.

2. Verify credentials

Ask about pet first aid/CPR certification and whether they’re insured and bonded.

3. Request references

Speak to past or current clients for honest feedback.

4. Meet in person

Arrange a meet-and-greet to see how your dog responds to them.

5. Discuss routines

Ensure they can stick to your dog’s feeding, walking, and medication schedule.

6. Ask about group walks

Clarify whether they walk multiple dogs at once or provide solo walks.

7. Check reliability

Confirm their backup plan in case they’re sick or unavailable.

8. Look for communication

Choose someone who provides updates, photos, or reports after walks.

9. Test with a trial walk

Start with a short session to assess how your dog and the walker get along.

10. Clarify policies

Go over payment, cancellations, keys/access to your home, and emergency procedures.
